Ceratopetalum gummiferum, the New South Wales Christmas Bush. Is a tall shrub or small tree popular in cultivation due to its sepals that turn bright red-pink at around Christmas time.
Famous in NSW at Christmas time as an alternative to the pine tree as a Christmas decoration.

Maintenance:
Keep well mulched as it does not like drying out. Very important to keep up the water to this plant when it's in full bloom - this will maintain the display longer. Trim back lightly after flowering.
