Native to Australia, this brilliant medium sized, deciduous tree has bright red flowers which are produced after the leaves are shed, the effect is that of a tree on fire hence the name flame tree.
The flame tree is an attractive specimen tree suitable for large garden. Young plants are useful indoors.
