Item Description Name   Common Name: Rock Gardenia Botanical Name: Gardenia Augusta Radicans   Size   These plants are about 5 - 8cm in height Each plant comes in its own 50mm (2") pot   This variety can grow to about 300mm tall and .9 - 1.2m wide.    Description/Uses   Native to China, Taiwan and Japan. This spreading dwarf form of the popular gardenia is great as a container plant which is also often used as a ground cover in a warm sheltered position in the garden.   It produces mass of sweetly fragrant waxy white flowers in summer with lustrous dark green leaves. It Flowers from late spring to early summer, with spot flowering till late autumn.   Care and Maintenance Low to medium water use Semi shade to full sun Low maintenance Radicans are drought tolerant but may burn if exposed to strong cold and winds in winter. They prefer moist, well-drained soil All our plants are established in their pots and are ready to plant straight into your garden or a larger pot.   Water well each day for 2 - 3 weeks after planting.
