Description Name   Common Name: Ponytail Palm Botanical Name: Beaucarnea Recurvata Syn Nolina   Size   These plants are about 12 - 15cm in height Each plant comes in its own 75mm (3") pot   This variety can grow to about 10m high and 3m wide.    Description/Uses   A hardy palm-like plant with a crown of pendulous strappy leaves resembling a pony tail which emerge from a central trunk that has an unusual swelling at the base   A great container plant for warm and well lit positions indoors and out. When grown outdoors, this plant will grow to tree size with leaves to 2 metres long. When grown indoors its size is considerably restricted.   Care and Maintenance Low water use Semi shade to full sun Low maintenance Will perform best in moist soils and when fed with a liquid plant food or slow release fertilizer. All our plants are established in their pots and are ready to plant straight into your garden or a larger pot.   Water well each day for 2 - 3 weeks after planting. Will tolerates most soils and conditions including dry periods
