Photos   The photo on the right is what the plants may look like when mature The photos on the left a samples of the actual stock being sold the plants you receive will be similar shape and size Item Description Name   Common Name: Small leaved Lilly Pilly, Riberry Botanical Name: Syzygium Luehmannii   Size   These plants are about 12 - 15cm in height Each plant comes in its own 50mm (2") pot   This variety can grow to about 15m tall and 8m wide.    Description/Uses   This fantastic Lilly Pilly has small, glossy, lance-shaped leaves which are pink/red when young. It is excellent as an ornamental tree for shelter and shade and the dense nature of the foliage makes it also great for hedging and topiary.   The cream coloured fluffy flowers are followed by bunches of small edible pink to red pear-shaped berries which can be used to make tasty jams. The berries have a tart, cranberry-like flavor, with a hint of cloves and are a popular gourmet bushfood.   Care and Maintenance Low to medium water use Semi shade to full sun Low to medium maintenance Staking of young plants is required to maintain upright habit until established. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth. Once established, this Lilly Pilly will put on about 30 - 40cm of growth per year. This variety is not prone to psyllid damage. All our plants are established in their pots and are ready to plant straight into your garden or a larger pot.   Water well each day for 2 - 3 weeks after planting. Prefers moist, well drained soil To make a great hedge, plant about 1 - 1.2m apart.
