Description Name   Common Name: Grevillea Red Hooks Botanical Name: Grevillea Hookeriana   Size   These plants are about 12 - 15cm in height Each plant comes in its own 50mm (2") pot   This variety can grow to about 3m high and 3 - 5m wide.    Description/Uses   A medium sized shrub the Red Hooks Grevillea has nectar rich, bright red, toothbrush shaped flowers from winter to summer and with spot flowering conintuing throughout the year.   Ideal screening or hedge plant and is great as an ornamental shrub for difficult, dry spots in the garden. The flowers attract nectar feeding birds.   Care and Maintenance Low water use Semi shade to full sun Low maintenance Prune well after flowering to maintain compact growth. Will tolerate coastal conditions, drought, frost and poor soils. All our plants are established in their pots and are ready to plant straight into your garden or a larger pot.   Water well each day for 2 - 3 weeks after planting.
