Common Name: Golden Euonymus

Botanical Name: Euonymus japonicus 'Aureo-marginatus'

 

Size

 

These plants are about 8 - 12cm in height

Each plant comes in its own 50mm (2") pot

 

This variety can grow to about 2m tall and 1m wide. 

 

Description/Uses

 

Native to Japan, this evergreen shrub displays boldly variegated foliage and can be used as a beautiful foliage contrast against other plants, it can be trimmed into a hedge or left to grow in its natural form. It tolerates heat, wind, salt spray and Frost.

These plants are Low maintenance and very hardy. They will need a trim about twice a year depending on the desired height and thickness of the hedge or topiary. They will put on about 20cm of growth a year

All our plants are established in their pots and are ready to plant straight into your garden or a larger pot.

 
  • Water well each day for 2 - 3 weeks after planting.
  • To make a great hedge, plant them about 50cm apart

  • Place a small amount of slow release fertilizer around the new plant. This will maximise growth and get best results.
