Description Name   Common Name: Dwarf Bottlebrush, Callistemon Little John Botanical Name: Callistemon Viminalis Little John   Size   These plants are about 5 - 8cm in height Each plant comes in its own 50mm (2") pot   This variety can grow to about 1 - 2m high and 1.5m wide.    Description/Uses   The Dwarf Bottlebrush is a drought tolerant and moderately frost tolerant plant whose compact size is a fantastic addition to any Native garden bed as a foreground feature. Can also be used as a small hedge or border and will attract birds to your garden.   Callistemon 'Little John' is a dwarf cultivar which produces masses of dark red flowers, and has attractive blue green foliage with a slightly soft, furry appearance.   Care and Maintenance Low water use Full sun Low to medium maintenance A hardy plant adaptable to most soils. Prefers full sun. Can be pruned after flowering to maintain shape and encourage new growth. All our plants are established in their pots and are ready to plant straight into your garden or a larger pot.   Water well each day for 2 - 3 weeks after planting.
