Use in shrub borders and in planting islands and containers. Makes a showy and non-messy plant at poolside. This beautiful and adaptable beauty is perfect for home and commercial interiors.

The Bird of Paradise responds well to regular feeding with a slow release fertilizer and compost. They are however very tolerant plants and will thrive in most soils and can survive with very little water once established. The plants are also wind resistant and grow well in coastal gardens.

All our plants are established in their pots and are ready to plant straight into your garden or a larger pot.

  • Water well each day for 2 - 3 weeks after planting.
  • These plants love a rich loamy soil and plenty of water throughout the year.

  • Plant in a nutrient rich acid soil

  • Plant in bright sun for the most flowers. Plant in shade for the best looking foliage
