Photos   The photo on the right is what the plants may look like when mature The photos on the left a samples of the actual stock being sold the plants you receive will be similar shape and size Item Description Name   Common Name: Abelia 'Francis Mason' Botanical Name: Abelia x grandiflora Francis Mason   Size   These plants are about 5 - 10cm in height Each plant comes in its own 50mm (2") pot   This variety can grow to about 1 - 1.5m tall and 1m wide.    Description/Uses   This is a spreading rounded shrub with glossy golden leaves that sometimes tinge bronze. New growth is a fantastic bright yellow becoming golden when mature with fragrant soft pink trumpet-shaped flowers in summer.   Abelia makes an excellent feature mass planting shrub, great for hedge or border planting.   Care and Maintenance Medium to low water use Semi shade to full sun Low maintenance These plants are low maintenance and very hardy. They can be left to grow naturally or be trimmed as desired. They prefer Sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil All our plants are established in their pots and are ready to plant straight into your garden or a larger pot.   Water well each day for 2 - 3 weeks after planting. Place one handful of slow release fertilizer around the new plant once planted Fertilise beginning of Spring.
